Google announced the release of Gmail AMP for emails, and on the same day, many publications appeared on the Internet in various blogs on how to create and send dynamic emails based on AMP technology .
But to send AMP emails to recipients , you need to get permission from Google, otherwise they won’t deliver your messages.
So, how do you create such emails and what steps do you need to take to register to get on Google’s whitelist and finally get the “email of happiness”?
Confirmation-from-Google-that-We-Got-Whitelisted
In this post, we want to walk you through all these steps, sharing our experience of how we got whitelisted by Google.
Yes, we can now serve dynamic AMP content to recipients.
Let me quickly remind you what you need to do to get whitelisted by Gmail, that is, to be able to send AMP emails :
select an ESP that supports AMP;
create AMP messages;
Register with Google.
The first two steps are pretty self-explanatory, so we won’t go into them, but the third one is quite complex, so we’ll look at it in more detail – which is actually the purpose of this post.
Step 1: Selecting an ESP with AMP Support
Why do we start with this? Because if your ESP doesn’t support Gmail AMP for emails, the next two steps will be completely useless.
As of today, 33 ESPs support AMP for Email:

Step 2: Create AMP emails
Before you can send emails, you need to create them (c) Cap
Here’s an example of the email we sent to Google:
We didn’t make it specifically for Google. It’s a newsletter we’re going to send to our subscribers soon.
We created it in Stripo.
You can do this using:
Gmail AMP for Email Playground – Google algeria virtual phone numbers offers 10 different AMP elements to embed in your emails. You can also use this platform to create AMP HTML emails from scratch;
Stripo.email – you can use our AMP letter designer , edit ready-made AMP templates or simply use the AMP image carousel block .
In this post, we’ve covered in detail how to use Stripo to create AMP emails in under 10 minutes, preview them, and deliver them to an ESP that supports AMP4Email.
Step 3. Register with Google
Now that your AMP email is ready and you have chosen the right ESP, it is time to proceed with the registration with Google. The latter will check your sender name, SPF and DKIM settings. And only if you pass this test, you will be allowed to send AMP emails.
Why is this necessary?
The thing is that AMP emails deliver and reveal a lot of confidential information. Such emails give customers the opportunity to discuss some personal issues directly in the email chat, organize meetings, show the amount of goods left in the warehouse, etc.
So, what stages of registration did we successfully complete:
We authenticated our emails using SPF and DKIM
What is it and what is it for?
SPF – Sender Policy Framework – allows a sender (domain) to specify which IP addresses can send emails from. In other words, it is a list of IP addresses that my sender/domain is going to use to send emails.
How does it work? When my email provider receives an email, it checks SPF. If Gmail receives an email from my domain, but the IP address is not listed, it determines that the email was not sent by me and sends it to the spam folder. If my emails pass the SPF test, they will go to the inbox.
How does it work? The recipient’s ISP checks. Dive into video guide that the private DKIM key (for encoding only) matches the public DKIM key (for decoding only).
Senders only encode, email clients only decode.
Spammers can’t encode!
We checked the purpose of our XHRs
We have verified that our XMLHttpRequests are coming to our domain address, which is specified in our email address.
XMLHttpRequests allow you to update a specific part of an email (web page) without having to refresh the entire page.
We’ve verified that our DKIM signature matches the domain of our sender address.
As we said, we registered our email address [email protected] – the address we use to contact recipients. Our domain is “stripo.email” and our DKIM signature is “[email protected]”. Everything matches 🙂
How to Get Whiteliste with Google for Sending AMP Emails Checking Signature
